Jocelyn Jones

TEACHER, CONSULTANT, WRITER, PRODUCER, SPEAKER

Jocelyn has been an in-demand acting teacher for over thirty years. From A-list movie stars to hand-picked beginners, Ms. Jones is known for offering insights and techniques that enhance an actor’s confidence, guide them to their own unique perspective, and consistently provide them with inspirational results.

Known as a “secret weapon” to some of the biggest movie stars in the industry, Ms. Jones has also served as a confidential Creative Consultant, working on some of the highest-grossing pictures of all time.

From advising stars on which projects to choose, to private coaching, rewriting, and developing future projects, Ms. Jones’ work as a private consultant is considered an invaluable asset by many.

She is the daughter of Henry Jones: a character actor widely celebrated for his Broadway roles in “The Bad Seed,” “Advise and Consent,” and his Tony Award winning performance in “Sunrise at Campobello.”

Mr. Jones also performed in some 40 feature films and over 300 television shows. A favorite of Alfred Hitchcock, Jones appeared in his film “Vertigo” and numerous episodes of “Hitchcock Presents” on TV.

Ms. Jones has appeared on stage in both New York and Los Angeles, most notably at The Mark Taper Forum, in the world premiere of Christopher Hampton’s “Tales from Hollywood” with Paul Sorvino.

Her work in motion pictures includes Clint Eastwood’s, “The Enforcer” and starring roles in the cult classics, “The Great Texas Dynamite Chase” and “Tourist Trap”.

Without doubt, Ms. Jones attributes the greatest rewards of her career to her role as teacher, and to the joy of shepherding hundreds of actors from novice to starring careers.
